It's -45 C this morning, mountains of snow looking out my window with coffee cup in hand, just watching a mangy coyote feed on some scraps I had thrown out at the end of my field. Just looking at this poor soul fighting to survive made me think, you know, sometimes all we need is a hand up. Another thought that came to mind was if that coyote had been wandering 10 miles away from here it may have never found this food and in this cold and in his condition probably wouldn't of made it. I guess life is kind of like that for us too, always looking for the next opportunity and maybe hitting tons of dead ends but the search, no matter what that looks like can never end.
